Frequently Asked Questions About Preschool Trips

1. How many times a month do we take trips?
One monthly theme party, and one optional trip.

2. What is a monthly theme party?
Activities, games, arts and crafts, planned for the month.

3. What is an optional trip?
An extra chance to spend time with the children. * This is a shorter version of our monthly theme parties.

4. How do I attend the trips?
You must be an official member. RSVP to FSUHELP@hotmail.com one week prior to the trip. Please be sure to include the following: first and last name, phone number center attending, and transportation.

5. What do I wear on the day of the field trip?
Baby blue or Navy blue H.E.L.P. T-shirt and jean pants or shorts. *Keep in mind you will be working with children, so no inappropriate clothing.

6. Where do I park when I get to the center?
Behind the Preschool center.

7. Where do I meet when I get to the center?
In the front of the center at 2:45 and an officer or S.E.A.L. will assist you

8. What is the process once I arrive?
-Sign in to the attendance sheet in order to receive your community service hours.
-Make a name tag (materials provided)
-Find your name on the chart to find out what age group you will be working with.
-Someone will assist you to your assigned classroom.
*Officers and S.E.A.L.s are always there to assist you (They will be wearing a navy blue name badge)

9. Anything else I should know?
-DO NOT wear jewelry for H.E.L.P. events
-DO NOT carry money with you
-And NO cell phones please
* Most of these children do not have the means to have such items, so it is only considerate not to bring them on the trips.
