The Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) was reestablished in the fall semester of 1997 at the Florida State University (FSU)
BGSA accomplishes its goals by hosting speakers who educate the members on various topics, providing minority undergraduates with mentorship and presenting relevant programs. In an effort to foster a nurturing atmosphere, the organization sponsors social events for its members as well as other graduate organizations.
