Alpha Delta Pi women, as well as friends and family members of Alpha Delta Pi, show their philanthropic spirit in many ways. Each year, chapters, alumnae associations, and outstanding volunteers give back to their community through a number of different events. Alpha Delta Pi's international philanthropy is Ronald McDonald House Charities. This commitment was made in 1979 and continues today. Since beginning its association, Alpha Delta Pi has contributed over $2 million to this worthwhile effort. Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) supports Ronald McDonald Houses in local communities, as well as funding grants to other non-profit organizations whose programs focus on children in need. The function of these homes is to provide a support, comfort, and a "home away from home" for the families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment in nearby hospitals. Alpha Delta Pi Iota Chapter volunteers at the Ronald McDonald House located here in Tallahassee.

Our chapter's philanthropy is ADPI-athlon held every year. This event joins all Florida State Greek organizations for a fun-filled day of "pie" events. Each organization is on a rotation schedule paired with other organizations to compete in eight different events, which all consist of some sort of "pie", such as, pie and go seek, obstacle course, dizzy bat, and a pie eating contest. The day turns into all participants.

This year we raised $2,665.00 for RMH!
