Fellowships, Assistantships, and Financial Aid for Minorities
and Women (Please check
here for most recent information and deadlines) In addition
to the general sources of support for graduate students, there are
some special opportunities for minorities and women. Many of these
are listed below.
Application for admission and application for financial awards
are two different processes, often with different deadlines. Graduate
students need to make a specific application for each award they
seek. Students should begin the process of seeking financial assistance
at least one year prior to the date they wish to begin a graduate
program. Almost all fellowship and assistantship programs require
the GRE, GMAT, or LSAT; the appropriate test should be scheduled
so that scores will be available prior to the application deadline.
For more information please contact the Office of Graduate Studies
or the director of graduate studies of your program.
