Catalog
You will receive a University catalog in CD-ROM format during Orientation. If you wish to receive one prior to your arrival on campus, please send your request and a check or money order in the amount of $5.00 (postage and handling) to the FSU Bookstore, Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL 32306-4113, or telephone 800.255.FSU1. Advising
At Orientation, you will meet with your Academic Advisor for the first time. Your advisor will not only help you design your first class schedule at FSU, but they will also help you chart the course to your degree. Your advisor will be available to you throughout your career at FSU to help you get the courses and experience you need for your degree and beyond. With Disabilities

The Student Disability Resource Center (SDRC) provides academic support services to students with disabilities at no cost. To be eligible for services, you must provide appropriate documentation and register in person with the SDRC (08 Kellum Hall).
FSUCard
More than just a student ID, your FSUCard is a necessary tool for student life at FSU. Of course, you can use the FSUCard to check out library books, but it can also be used as a debit card with an account from SunTrust Bank, your access card to University facilities, and your ticket to athletic events, movies, and more. FSU was one of the first schools in the nation to include smartchip technology. Using the smartchip on your FSUCard, you can make copies, do your laundry, and make purchases from campus vending machines. You can get your FSUCard at Orientation. FSU has a long-standing reputation for offering the most current technology to our students. Students at FSU can expect free access to our state-of-the-art computer labs, free e-mail account and web access, and a host of computing resources to assist in classwork, research, and entertainment. As a diverse campus, it makes sense that FSU's students would have diverse interests. FSU has more than 300 student clubs and organizations to match almost any interest. And if you can't find the club for you, find ten friends and start a new club!
