The College of Human Sciences focuses on preparing you for careers in child and human services and in a variety of service industries, including fashion, textiles, merchandising, home economics, and nutrition and food science. Academic programs combine theory, research, and skills from numerous disciplines to find innovative solutions to the challenges of contemporary society. Through all of its programs, the College of Human Sciences at Florida State works for the benefit of individuals and families in Florida and beyond by contributing to economic development and by addressing urgent social problems.
