College of Engineering

From the time of the pyramids of ancient Egypt to the eras of the Great Wall of China and the aqueducts and irrigation networks of the Roman Empire, engineers have been society's innovators and builders, fueling the technological progress that improves human life. Today in our rapidly growing College of Engineering, you will apply your knowledge of mathematics, science, and technology to solve 21st century problems such as pollution, aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, and environmentally safe construction. The College of Engineering is jointly managed by Florida State University and Florida A & M University. The College offers degrees in chemical, computer, electrical, mechanical, civil, and industrial engineering. The newly renovated College of Engineering, the Northwest (Florida) Regional (Computer) Data Center, FSU's Computing and Network Services, and the cutting-edge National High Magnetic Field Laboratory are all clustered together at our research center - Innovation Park. This state-of-the-art research and development center is available for your engineering instruction and research.
