Every program of study within the College of Communication provides hands-on experience in communications technologies and methods, from the broadcast studios of the campus radio and television stations to laboratories where students work with people who have speech and language difficulties. The College was among the first of its kind in the nation and distinguished itself as one of the leaders in the country. Courses are comprehensive, ranging from the mechanical aspects of human speech and general communication to the commercial aspects of communication in business, including marketing, public relations, and advertising.
