Q: How much will it cost?

For tuition, room, board, and books, approximately $27,630 for out-of-state students; in-state $13,185. (Estimates based on undergraduate fees for the 2008-2009 year). More detailed information is available here.

Q: How do I apply for academic scholarships?

There is no need to apply. All merit scholarships are awarded automatically based upon high school academic GPA and test performance, which we obtain from your application for admission.

Q: How can I apply for an athletic scholarship?

Athletic scholarships are controlled by the respective coach. You, or someone who knows your ability, should contact that FSU coach and let him/her know of your interest.

Q: What types of financial aid are available?

The traditional types of financial aid include grants, loans, and work study.

Q: How do I apply for financial aid?

The only required form for the fall/spring academic year is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA can be completed online or a copy can be obtained at your high school, college or local public library.

Q: When do I apply for financial aid?

The earliest is January 1. The earlier you apply, the better, as financial aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Some types of financial aid are limited in funding.
