Choosing to attend Florida State because she was “attracted to the rich tradition and the incredible school spirit,” Natasha majors in Exercise Science and plays on the Women’s Softball Team.

A three-time Golden Torch Award winner for softball, it is clear that Natasha is not striking out in the academic arena. The Golden Torch is given to the athlete from each team with the highest grade point average. She has also been recognized for her academic success by ESPN The Magazine as a member of the Academic All-America second team. The College Sports Information Directors of America have twice named her to the District III Academic All-Region first team. Every semester since her freshman year, Natasha has appeared on the Dean’s List, and three times she was named to both the President’s List and the ACC Academic Honor Roll.

Natasha is extremely valuable to her sport as well. For the 2005 season, she was named the team’s Most Valuable Player. Twice, she was a first team All-ACC selection. In 2004, she was selected for the NFCA All Southeastern Region second team, and the NCAA named her to its Region 4 All-Tournament Team.

Natasha’s academic and athletic success continues. Currently, she is co-captain of the 2005-06 Softball Team and is a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Council.
