The purpose of this site is to provide a place for the students, faculty and staff of Florida State University to learn how we can prepare for computing disasters and get prepared before a disasterous event. 

If you would like to update your disaster contact information such as email forwarding and phone numbers prior to a disaster, please visit Disaster Contact Information (login with FSUID required).

Please register your mobile/cell phone number (login with FSUID required). FSU will use this number only in extreme emergency to send text messages directly to you. Please help FSU be able to inform you immediately of circumstances where the safety of campus locations is in question.

OTI Provides Departmental Help

The Office of Technology Integration (OTI), through its University Computing Services (UCS) division, extends enterprise-level hosting, data storage, and backup services on an a la carte basis to all university departments. Provisioned through resources located in the university’s central computing facility located in the Sliger Building at Innovation Park, and/or its remote disaster recovery site located in Atlanta, Georgia, these services conform to the guidelines and objectives of the University’s Information Technology Disaster Recovery and Data Backup Policy and are offered on a cost-recovery basis.
