What makes him great: He's caring, patient and inspirational
"He's really in touch with his students. He's very caring, and he tries to help you out.
"Basically, what he would always tell us is to not give up no matter how bad it got. It was Italian, and we were having a really hard time, and he told us as a class not to give up...
"He offered us any kind of help, even now. I don't have him anymore, but he told me to go to his office for any problems I was having with any of my other Italian classes.
"Basically he was the one who inspired me to major in Italian. I always had a passion for it, and he made me realize just how much it meant to me, and he basically convinced me.
"One of the things he told me was that he noticed that I had a very strong passion towards the language, and he thought I should not stop at just taking Italian for fun.
"I'll probably be teaching Italian.
"I go and see him every once in awhile, and he's helped me. He's going to
help me with the study abroad program."
