Michael D. English (B.S. ) is chief operating officer of PrimeLink Systems Inc. in Folsom, La.

1972
Larry W. Singleton (B.S.) is chief financial officer of Safety-Kleen Corp. in New York, N.Y.

Bernadette Roberts Storck (M.S. ) was honored by the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative when the new adminstration building/talking book library was named in her honor.

1973
Gerald W. Pumphrey (B.A.) received a doctor of education from Clemson University in Clemson, S.C.

Dr. Susan L. Sayles (B.S., Ph.D. '91) is chair of the department of criminal justice, graduate and undergraduate studies, at Florida Metropolitan University-Brandon.

Col. Paul L. Bailey (B.S.) was promoted to GS-15 with the U.S. Space Command in Colorado Springs, and also promoted to Colonel with the U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Dr. Michael H. Allen (B.S.) is associate director of Behavioral Health at Denver Health and an assistant professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Deborah Denison Bailey (B.M.) is a resident resources coordinator at Village Gardens at Skyline Assisted Living Center in Colorado Springs.

William B. Clutter (B.A., M.S. '78) was recently promoted to the position of assistant vice chancellor, Student Life, and director of the Department of University Unions at East Carolina University.

Celia Bugg Hill (B.S.) has received the 1999 Distinguished Service Award for the Florida Association of Extension Family and Consumer Sciences.

Craig T. Lynch (B.S.) is co-chair of the Chairman's Advisory Council of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Charlotte, N.C.

Lisa A. Miller (B.M.) has composed a new music score (with Mark Northam) for one of the most highly acclaimed silent films of its era, "The Scarlet Letter" (1926) starring Lillian Gish, adapted by Frances Marion based on the famous Nathaniel Hawthorne story.

Paul P. Avallone (B.A.) has completed a two year Foreign Service tour in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and is in Washington, D.C., preparing for an assignment to Kyrgystan.

Peter C. Melvin (B.S.) received a doctor of philosophy from Clemson University in Clemson, S.C.

Michael L. Lisle Jr. (B.S.) is executive director of communities in schools of Nassau County.

Daniel W. Lassiter (B.S.) is a principle management consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Atlanta.

Christopher S. Polaszek (B.S., M.B.A. '97, J.D. '97) has joined the Tampa office of Holland & Knight LLP as an associate.

Scott A. Jones (B.S.) has been accepted into the University of Oregon's Marketing Ph.D. program.

Richard E. Klenk Jr. (B.S.) is winner of a 2000 Southern Regional Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Achievement: Topical Promotional Announcement.

Robert D. Long (M.S.) is assistant director of the Economic Development Partnership in Aiken, S.C.

Marjorie K. Charles-Brown (B.S.) received an Excellence in Education Award from BellSouth/Atlanta Braves during pre-game ceremonies Aug. 12.

Robert P. Woodall Jr. (B.S.) is assistant athletic trainer at Guilford College in Greensboro, N.C.

Elizabeth T. Hinkle (B.M.) is attending the New England Conservatory of Music and plans to earn an M.M. in Violin Performance in May 2001.

Stephen R. Tilford (D.M.) won third place in the prestigious Palma D' Oro international piano competition held in Finale Ligure, Italy.
