1958

Richard L. Puckett (B.S., M.S. '60) announced his retirement as the executive director of LeMoyne Art Foundation. Puckett was LeMoyne's first director when it opened its doors in 1964.

1961

Jack R. Gaskins (B.S., M.S. '75), vice-principal of Leon High School, is retiring from 39 years of teaching and administration. He has been the Leon golf coach for 20 years.

1974

Tanya Telfair Sharpe (B.A., M.S. '76) is completing a doctorate degree at Georgia State University. She is the recipient of a two-year national research service award from the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Drug Abuse, which supports her dissertation research.

1976

Gayle Sierens Martin (B.S.) has been a reporter and news anchor for WFLA-TV newschannel 8 NBC in Tampa for 22 years. Sierens will receive a Peacepower Media Award from the Women's Peacepower Foundation.

1985

Lynn M. Machleit (B.S.) is corporate controller for E3 Corporation in Atlanta.

1989

Thomas J. McMahan (B.S.) manages the sales staff for AiC Worldwide in Latin America with specific focus on Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Mexico and Miami. AiC is an Australian company which organizes conferences and exhibitions.

1990

Victoria J. Carr-Rodriguez (B.S.) has been promoted by the St. Lucie County school board from classroom teacher to achievement specialist. She is responsible for all staff development as it relates to student achievement and all standardized testing.

1991

Terry D. Turner Jr. (B.S.) is an associate with the law firm of Gentle, Pickens & Eliason in Birmingham, Ala. His law firm is the escrow agent for the silicone gel breast implant settlement, settling claims for the defendants, and has paid more than $1 billion to claimants on behalf of the settlement fund.

1994

Richard A. Floyd (B.A.) received a Columbia Graduate Fellowship during commencement exercises at Columbia Theological Seminary in May. He is a candidate with Central Florida Presbytery.
Amanda Murphy (B.S.) is the new media director for Quantum Communications in North County San Diego, Calif.

1999

Donald B. Langrehr ('99) is assistant professor of education, department of teacher development, at Augusta State University.
