Gene McDowell (B.S.) was named the first coach of Tallahassee's indoor football franchise.

1964
Andy Haggard (B.A.), a partner in the Coral Gables plaintiffs' civil trial law firm Haggard & Parks P.A., is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, limited to trial lawyers who have won verdicts, awards and settlements of more than $1 million.
Annette Hannon Lee (B.A. M.F.A. '73) is the new director of public relations at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Ga.

James L. Roberts (B.S.) is vice president, finance and administration, for Haemacure Corporation, in Montreal.
Terry J. Russell (J.D.) is a Ft. Lauderdale attorney and president-elect of The Florida Bar Foundation.

Hansel E. Tookes II (B.S.) is president and CEO of Raytheon Aircraft.
J. Douglas Helms (M.A., Ph.D. '77) is president of the Agricultural History Society. He is a historian with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Washington, DC.
Frank A. Kreidler (B.S., J.D. '73) announced that the Palm Beach County Seminole Booster Club won the 14th Annual Blood Bank Competit-ion sponsored by the South Florida Blood Banks. This is the ninth successive year that the Seminoles have donated more blood than the Gators.
W. Christian Sizemore (M.A., Ph.D. '72) president of Jewell College in Liberty, Mo., since 1994, has been named chancellor of the College.
