A. Bruce Craig is senior vice president, Retail Field Operations of Starbucks Coffee Company.
Nancy M. Hart has married Carmen L. Battaglia in Atlanta. Battaglia is a former chairman of the national FSU Alumni Association and is on the Board of Directors of the American Kennel Club. Hart was an associate producer at CNN and worked in the Reagan administration. She now attends dog shows with Battaglia, who judges dog shows around 40 weekends a year.

Kenneth L. Creely was named the 1997 Alumnus of the Year by the Society of Hosts of FSU's hospitality administration department, for contributions to the golf club industry and FSU.
Circuit Judge John C. Lenderman, St. Petersburg, has completed the judicial writing course at The National Judicial College in Reno, Nevada.

Dr. Richard R. Kania, professor and chair of justice and policy studies at Guilford College, has a grant to teach at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw.
