1962

Robert C. Harriss (B.S.) holds the A.P. and Florence Wiley Chair in civil engineering at Texas A & M University.

1964

Andy Haggard (B.A.) has joined the Southern Trial Lawyers Association.

1970

Augustus D. Aikens Jr. (B.A. '70, M.S.'74, J.D. '74) was appointed by Gov. Lawton Chiles to the Leon County Court bench.

Frank A. Kreidler (B.S. '70, J.D. '73) was appointed by the Palm Beach County Commission to a two-year term on the HUD Emergency Shelter Grants Program Advisory Board.

Marjorie J. Meyer (B.A.) has been named to the faculty of the Community Associations Institute's Law Seminar.

William E. Taylor (M.B.A. '70) will assume the duties of director of the Science and Engineering directorate - the largest organization at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala.

1972

The Rev. Susan H. Johnson (M.M. '72, M.S. '90) received a divinity degree from the University of the South.

James F. Vickrey (Ph.D.) has been named chair of Troy State University's Department of Speech and Theatre.

1973

Terry P. Lewis (B.A. '73, J.D. '76) has been named Circuit Judge, Second Judicial Circuit.

Dr. W. Alan Smith (B.A. '73) has been appointed assistant dean for academic affairs at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, where he is a professor of religion and philosophy.

1974

Howard A. Kusnick (B.S.) of the law firm of Kusnick & Rothstein, Ft. Lauderdale, is vice-chair of the Consumer Protection Committee of the Florida Bar for '97-'98.

Dayle L. Hinman (B.W. '74) was the first woman in the country to take on the job of a criminal personality profiler in 1986. Now Hinman joins four other women out of 33 criminal-personality-profiler graduates from the FBI's international training center in Quantico, Va. She works for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

1975

Sachi G. Dastidar (Ph.D.) releases his fifth book, "This is my Home," in Calcutta, India.

1976

Kathryn Herbert-LaFone (M.S.) was presented with an Award for Outstanding Leadership by the University of North Carolina Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa.

1977

J. Robin King (Ph.D.), an associate professor at Flagler College in St. Augustine, was inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa's national leadership honor society.

1980

Dr. Roderick C. Jungbauer (M.M.E.) is the director of education and technical assistance at the Association on Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) office. AHEAD is an international, multicultural organization of professionals committed to full participation in higher education for persons with disabilities.

1982

A. Lynn Zucker Langford (B.S.) earned an M.S. in health services administration from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. She is director of business development at Tenet Healthcare Corporation.

1983

Chris Bosler (B.A.) was named worldwide marketing manager-immunoassays at Abbott Laboratories, Diagnostics Division, near Chicago.

Capt. Christopher D. Cook (B.A. '83, M.A. '91) a missile operations evaluator at 20th Air Force, F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyo., is one of only nine officers from all branches of the military to receive an Olmsted scholarship to study at a foreign university. Cook will study political science at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Jody Kielbasa (B.F.A. '83, M.F.A. '85) has been named producing artistic director of American Stage in St. Petersburg.

1984

Jeffrey D. Kottkamp (B.S.) was installed as president of the Lee County Bar Association in Ft. Myers. He is also vice-chair of the Florida Bar Journal Editorial board and is a certified circuit court mediator.

1985

Robert "Whit" Duncan (B.S.) has been hired by Crescent Resources as marketing director/Orlando.

1986

Philip E. Ward (B.S.) of the Fort Lauderdale law office of Holland & Knight is a firm partner.

1987

S. Lynn Rubier-Capron (M.M.) received of a merit scholarship at Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta.

Alan R. Sealls (M.S.) is a meteorologist at WMAQ-TV in Chicago and was featured in a PBS Broadcast of "Newton's Apple." Sealls also appears in a recently released Time-Life book, "Planet Earth."

1989

B. Dan Berger (B.S.) is now the director of regulatory affairs for Insurance Data Resources Inc. and IDR Statistical Services in Sarasota.

Larry Clark (B.S.) is in the inaugural edition of Who's Who in American Media and Telecommunications.

1990

Geoffrey S. Beech (B.S.) received his professional engineering license from the state of Alabama. He is a mechanical systems engineer at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.

Delonna M. Hartley (B.S.) has left for Bosnia on a peacekeeping mission. A member of the Tallahassee Police Department for the past eight years, she was one of 19 veteran police officers from the United States selected to participate in the program to report human-rights violations by Bosnia police to the war crimes court.

1991

Capt. Keith A. Collyer (B.S.) was assigned to the U.S. Army Simulation, Training and Instrumentation Command in Orlando.

Paul W. Lambert (B.S.) has been promoted to vice president, information technology of US Franchise Systems Inc. in Atlanta.

Jennifer M. Miles (B.S.) is associate director of campus programs and organizations, Greek and student organizations advisor at Albion College in Albion, Michigan.

Capt. Paul S. Rollin (B.S.) was in Guam for training with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit in Okinawa, Japan.

Jeffrey D Seay (B.A.) has been promoted to editor in the FSU Media Relations Office. He edits and designs State, the FSU Faculty/Staff newsletter.

1992

C. Michael Diaz (M.B.A.) is vice president of administration and secretary of Servico Inc., an owner and operator of hotels.

A. Brent Geogahan (B.S.) has joined the Orlando office of Holland & Knight as an associate.

Michael A. Haggard (B.S.) with Haggard, Parks & Stone in Coral Gables has been sworn in as a director of the Dade County Trial Lawyers Association.

1994

Stephanie L. Solberg (B.S.) was promoted to account executive of Ogilvy & Mather advertising agency in Atlanta.

1995

Courtney E. Ash (B.S.) has been named director of marketing for ABC25 in Jacksonville.

M.Laine Wyatt (M.F.A. '95) was awarded the Florida Individual Artist Fellowship by the Florida Department of State Division of Cultural Affairs & Florida Arts Council

1996

Dimitri N. Diatchenko (M.M.) has moved to Hollywood and is working as an actor. He has co-starred in the television shows Soldier of Fortune, Fame L.A., Total Security, Time Cop and Diagnosis Murder. He has been featured in two films, Airforce One and G.I. Jane. He has also been a principal performer in three commercials: Pepsi, Service Merchandise and Lay's Potato Chips.

William A. Feeks (B.A.) completed the Marine Corps' adjutant course in Lejeune, N.C. The adjutant is the commander's staff officer, responsible for personnel and legal administration.

Yun Fang Rinnert (B.A.) has departed for Poland as a Peace Corps volunteer. She is teaching English in secondary schools.

1997

Elizabeth A. Bartlett (B.S.) is the account coordinator for the advertising agency Hood & Associates in Atlanta.
