Dr. Betty Lentz Siegel (Ph.D. '61), Kennesaw, Ga., is a member of the Governor's Delegation to the Presidents' Summit for America's Future and will represent Georgia on the 1998 Commission on the Future of the South.

Arthur B. Campbell Jr. (B.S. '63), Homestead, Fla., has retired from the U. S. Air Force Reserve with 33 years of service.

William Andrew Haggard (B.A. '64), Coral Gables, Fla., is a director of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and chairman of the Leadership Council of FSU's College of Arts and Sciences.

Dr. George H. Lucktenburg (D.M. '65) wrote "Early Keyboard Instruments in European Museums" for a publication from Indiana University Press.
Dr. Stephen R. Montague (B.M. '65, M.M. '67) has released the CD The Creatures Indoors, for the 1997 BT Celebration Series.

Judge John C. Lenderman (B.A. '66) was named Jurist of the Year by the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Florida Chapter.
1967
Clyde Harry Causey Jr. (M.M. '67) was advisor for The Celebration Hymnal, a cross-denominational collection of hymns, gospel songs and praise and worship choruses.

Robert M. Urich (B.A. '68) was honored as John Wayne Cancer Institute Chapter II's 1997 Three Tyler Award.

Richard B. Schinoff (Ph.D. '75) has been named the president of Miami-Dade's Kendall Campus.

Steven J. Coggin (B.S. '76), Salisbury, N.C., has been awarded the Swink Award for Outstanding Teaching by the faculty senate at Catawba College.
Lt. Col. John G. Hurd (B.S. '76) received the Air Force Commendation Medal for outstanding achievement as Chief in the Resource Management Division.

Lt. Jeffrey L. Klingensmith (B.S. '81) received the Coast Guard Achievement Medal for outstanding performance while serving as aircraft commander aboard a HU-25A aircraft during Tropical Storm Josephine.

Thomas B. Gaines Jr. (B.S. '82, J.D. '86) was named a partner of information and technology for King and Spalding law firm in Atlanta.
Maj. Michael W. McErlean (B.S. '82) returned from a six-month deployment to the Western Pacific Ocean aboard the USS Essex Amphibious Ready Group.
Juan J. San Juan (B.S. '82) departed on a six-month mission to the Mediterranean Sea aboard the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy.
