Dear President D'Alemberte:

At our Annual State Convention of the Florida American Legion, which we recently concluded, the enclosed Resolution was passed. As the state's largest veteran's organization, we are very pleased to support "The Institute on World War II and the Human Experience."

I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Oldson while I was on campus for the American Legion Boys State program and I commend the outstanding work they are doing. We have forwarded this Resolution the American Legion National Convention that will be held in New Orleans in September for their consideration. I will personally be monitoring this Resolution to attempt to have it favorably received by the delegation.

We have been supporting the Institute through our organization's publications and will continue to do so. Again, we congratulate you and Florida State University on this outstanding program.
