THE
TRAUMATIC STRESS
FORUM
Welcome to the Home Page of the Traumatic-Stress Forum!
The Traumatology Forum has been in operation since March
of 1994. Most of our members study or treat those who have or are still
experiencing the effects of enduring a traumatic event. Such events include
but is not limited to disasters, accidents, death of a loved one, criminal
violence, family abuse, war (either as a combatant or as a civilian), or
a survivor of other types of horrible circumstances. We are affiliated
with the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies and the Journal
of Traumatic Stress, among others. Our most immediate concern is seeking
the most powerful, painless, and efficient method for eliminating or at
least containing the unwanted consequeces of traumatic events.
Members are alerted to each issue of TRAUMATOLOGY
and is made available in beta form prior to official publication.
