	July 16, 2008 New Graduate Student Orientations University-wide new graduate student orientation will be held on August 19, and religion department orientation will be held on Thursday, August 21.
	July 16, 2008 Religion Fall Reception Graduate students and faculty are invited to attend the Religion Department's Fall Reception, 7:00-10:00 PM on Saturday, August 23, in Dodd Hall's Werkmeister Reading Room.
	June 18, 2008 Asian Religions Library Acquired The Religion department in collaboration with the university libraries has purchased a 25,000 volume collection of books and other materials related to religion and culture in Asia.
