Katherine is originally from Urbana, Illinois.  Her main interests are ethical intuitionism, virtue ethics, and the relation between ethics and literature. When not engaged in philosophizing, she enjoys reading 19th century British literature (esp. Austen and C. Brontë), studying ancient history and Latin and Greek languages, and making homemade pizza.
