One of the departement's latest generation of graduate students, Jay enters with interests in ethics, philosophy of religion, and epistemology. He enjoys taking specific angles at answering broad questions like 'why be moral?' and 'what is it for a religion to be true?' With a permanent residence in the state of Iowa for the last ten years, he recently finished his undergraduate degree at a cozy town in lucrative, rural northeast Missouri. At any rate, he can't really see why some call that place boring. His non-philosophical interests include music composition for guitar and voices, practicing his Spanish, and the sport of ultimate frisbee.
