UNIVERSITY ADMISSION POLICIES: Admission to graduate study involves admission to the department or school in which the applicant expects to study. Final admission to the University is subject to approval by the department or school. While there are minimal University admission requirements, the departments can, and frequently do, set admission standards significantly higher than these minima. The student should determine departmental requirements first.
