Contemporary and Colonial Latin American theater, especially Argentine theater; literary, performance, and cultural theories. Recent publications include Exorcising History: Argentine Theater under Dictatorship (Bucknell UP); chapters in Memoria colectiva y políticas de olvido. Argentina y Uruguay (1970-1990) and De Eugene O'Neill al "Happening." Teatro norteamericano y teatro argentino (1930-1990). An actress, director, and translator, she is currently completing the English translation of the collected plays of Ricardo Monti.
