Program Evaluation Certificate

The purpose of the Program Evaluation Certificate is to certify graduate level training in the basic concepts and skills necessary to conduct formative and summative evaluations of programs and program improvement efforts. The certificate is designed for full-time employees and graduate students who have, or will have, significant evaluation responsibilities, but little or no training in current evaluation theory and methods. The Evaluation Certificate Program will provide training in skills relating to the design, data collection, data analysis, and reporting of program evaluation studies.

The Program Evaluation Certificate is a non-degree program which can be completed at the student's own pace. To accommodate those who are employed full-time, courses will be offered in the late afternoons and early evenings when possible. A maximum of 12 credits earned as a special student for the Certificate may be applied toward a degree upon admission to the graduate program at the Florida State University.
