Evaluation and Research

Gathering and interpreting data applicable to various aspects of improving human performance for the purpose of making management and instructional decisions.

  1. Assesses and synthesizes data from a variety of sources and draws logical conclusions from available information.
  2. Selects, develops and uses methodologies, basic statistical tools and data collection techniques for evaluation and formal inquiry (research).
  3. Conducts formative evaluations of products, processes, and performances.
  4. Gathers and draws inferences from various information sources by identifying and using reference tools, information services and resource specialists.
  5. Assesses and applies findings from published research.
  6. Disseminates findings from research and evaluations.
  7. Designs, develops, applies and implements appropriate assessments of human performance and organizational results.
  8. Develops evaluation plans for the program/project based on stated goals and recognized standards.
