Research Interest

Social psychology; prejudice and stereotyping; implicit and explicit expressions of prejudice; self-regulation; attitude expression; emotion; human motivation; individual differences.

Current Research 

Current research focuses on the impact of the source of people's motivation to respond without prejudice on their attitudes, affect, and behavior in prejudice-relevant situations. Other related work explores the relationship between people's implicit and explicit expressions of prejudice and people's response to nonprejudiced social pressure.
