Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority,
Incorporated
is a historically Latina sorority. We were founded on April 9, 1990 at the
University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa. We actively uphold our five
principles of: Academics, Community Service, Cultural Awareness,
Morals and Ethics and Social Interaction. We adopted chapter
status on Florida State University's campus on July 24, 1998.
We, the Iota Alpha Chapter, strive to promote multiculturalism and
diversity amongst our members, campus and the community. Sigma
Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Incorporated is the largest and
fastest growing sorority in the nation. We currently have 58
chapters, 8 colonies, and 7 alumni associations.
