Aid
Students are eligible for funding as Thompson Fellows and research or teaching assistants. Funding normally ranges from $8000 to $12000. The University also offers competitive University and College Fellowships, the stipends for which are higher (and can in some instances combine with departmental funding).
In addition, tuition, matriculation,
and fees will be remitted to the sum of $1607.04 for in-state
tuition and $4653.36 out of state (last year's numbers;
this year's
numbers are likely to be slightly higher). For funded students, approximately 90% of a tuition expenses will be covered by a department assistantship.
